One of the leading Scandinavian pianist, Filip Michalak is a sought out pianist in Europe and future engagements include performances in USA and China. He is a graduate of the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester and was lately mentored by the world famous pianist, improvisor and composer Gabriela Montero. Filip has played in some of the biggest venues in Scandinavia and been invited to festivals such as Duszniki Chopin Festival and a concert tour at the EXPO2020 in Dubai. He s currently an artist in The Keyboard Charitable Trust in London and has already performed in venues in London and Frankfurt for the Trust.

Filip is also an active chamber musician playing with all different ensembles. Future engagements include a concert tour in China with violinist Kehan Zhang and performances with his duo partner Lovisa Huledal in Sweden and Denmark. He is the Artistic Director of Södertälje Chamber Music Festival in Sweden which had its first edition in 2019 and this summer it had its 3rd edition.
